I enjoy simple pleasures and think much of life can be savored through them. I like to sleep in on Saturday morning, take my time reading the paper with my favorite tea or coffee. Throwing some bags in a car and taking a quick road trip on the weekend is just the ticket. I did a week long trip following Us Hwy 50 thru Utah and Nevada to CA, stopping in Reno, Napa, Sequoia and Vegas, making it up as I went. I like things and people that stimulate my thinking. I do an economics club, political lectures, museums, even science lectures. I read only nonfiction because I like to learn things. There is the visceral side of me, too. I enjoy sports cars and I usually autocross race a couple times of year. I'm passionate about what I believe and I write the occasional opinion piece or talk to various groups. Personally, I maintain a normal weight, try to dress well but comfortably in public and at home. I'm old school when it comes to courtesy, music and writing.
