I'm a 23-year old student and art model. My major is French but I'm considering a minor in philosophy or English - it's hard to choose between passions. Some other things I love: music (I'm a classically trained pianist and percussionist), dancing, good-natured arguments, and old foreign films. I'm from Oregon so I'm into the outdoors and appreciate a good microbrew as much as a nice pinot noir. I'm taking a short hiatus from school at the moment and would be thrilled to use it as an opportunity to do some traveling. I've been told that I'm really fun to travel with - I'm pretty much up for anything, great at conversation, and can have fun no matter where I am. I see setbacks as opportunities for adventure, not something to fret about. I've stayed in tiny hostels in Guatemala and upscale hotels in France and Italy and found things I loved about both. While my job is great, there's not a ton of work to be had as an art model and until I get a "real" job, I don't have the funds to travel to meet anyone. If you have a travel proposal that's cool, or you could meet me here. I'd recommend the latter since Oregon is gorgeous. As far as what I'm looking for in a travel friend - someone who is reasonably intelligent and funny. I tend to get along well with people who are somewhat older than me, but I'm young at heart and like the ability to be completely silly sometimes. I also like variety - I'd rather travel with someone who doesn't want to spend every day doing the same things. Spending a couple days lazing around with a book is great, but I want to really experience the places I go to. Hope to talk to you soon!
